I don't think the higher horse power would be a problem. Most drive train
break downs are not due to the horse power, but the idiot behind the wheel.
If you apply the power smoothly and evenly the drive train will stand it.
(the way that you suppose to do it)The stock engines will break the
u-joints, ring and pinion gears if you apply the power suddenly. I have seen
military 2 1/2 ton axles withstand a 1000+ horse power in truck and tractor
pulls. A lot of Chevrolet dump trucks have 454s in them with a weaker
drivetrain that a 211.
