The first two letters stand for the state and the NG stands for the National
Guard.
The C or G stands for the Company either Charley co. or Golf co. number
meaning the number of the jeep that was in the co. The First Sergeant's
numbers were marked as a 7 and Company commanders are a 6.
This is what normal markings are but I have never seen them in red.
