[MV] Ford engine colour : other questions

Hello,
following the question on engine colour for GPW, I would like to know if the
same rules are usable for all WW2 Ford engines. I actually found grey colour
traces on the Ford V8 I repared (US made) but I also have UK design Ford V8
with olive drab colour.

What kind of paint has to be used to resist to the high temperature.
