[MV] 6 V starter motor in 12 V

I run all my ww2 GM products with the original 6v starter running off of a 12v
battery. No problem. I also make the entire electrical system 12v too with an
alternator.
With the Ford starter, the way it 'screws' as it engages might be a little
harsh with 12v though.
