I bought a gasket for the thermostat-housing-to-cylinder-head 'join' on my
GPW/mb last week and the supplier gave me an apparently original F-script
gasket!
I hadn't known that Ford went that far in identifying its parts.
I knew there were many F's in hidden places, but on a gasket!
My question is: should I use it (and effectively destroy it) or are
F-script gaskets something of a rarity?
Do the F-script enthusiasts go so far in the pursuit of the F that they
insist on F-script gaskets?
(And thanks for replies to my France question.)
