After reading the list in the olive-drab web site about what you should do when
you start out in this hobby, I think another should be to talk to some people
who own vehicles like the one(s) you are interested in. These people should
have no financial interest in the vehicle you choose; you should not be buying
the vehicle from them or parts either. They can advise you on whether you are
getting a good deal or something less.
