I know that the MUTT's were under coated here in Hawaii. You see, I'm
stationed at schofield barracks and in my motor pool where I keep my Army
issue M998 (HMMWV) there are two M151A2's. They belong to the Commanding
General for his change of command ceremony only they haven't been used in the
last two change of commands because the jeeps were not running he had to use
the HMMWV for the pass and reviewe. These two jeeps look like they just came
out of the crate. New paint, and undercoating. The sticky kind. It's what
they have used on the HMMWV until now. They are switching to the kind that's
permanent. Like the spray on truck bed lining. Here in Hawaii they call it
"LAVA LINING".
Hope this Helps!!!
Your "JEEP" nut !!!!!!!
