If you have a compas problem speak to Brian C. Asbury in Canada. I
seem to remembre he would strip and rebuild them if necessary,
including the more technical Pioneer units. I'm reasonably sure the
fluid is some sort of de-natured alcohol, whatever that is - any
instrument shop should be able to help. Gordon
