It will be crushed unless I can come up with some new angle. Here's the
name and address of the place if anyone else wants to give it a try. =

Any good salesman out there? I just hate to see it crushed.<
If you want it try this pitch.
Tell them you will pay them $xxx dollars for it and you will get a title.=
=
But they have to hold off from crushing it for 14 days. Give them $50 as=
down payment contingent upon you getting a title. Then contact one of th=
e
title brokers. There is one in Alabama as I recall. Get all of the
numbers of the body that you can, call them and try and get a title. If
you get it fine, buy the body from the yard and they will be happy. If y=
ou
can't due to some technicality, then you are out $50. Its a chance, but =
I
from what I've heard recently you should be able to get one. Apparently
the title brokers that are advertising now are being quite successful. F=
or
some reason the state governments seem to be loosening up on title. If
you give this a shot you might be able to pick up the body for a couple
hundred. Scrap is only going for about $60-70 bucks a ton, so if you off=
er
them $250 they should be happy to wait for 2 weeks. I understand that
using a title broker costs about $100. But you need to call them.
Good Luck,
Dave.
