The Military version will have brake drums and a hand brake handle on the
front cross member. If these were removed you should still be able to see
some evidence of them having been there originally - bolt holes, etc. Look
along the outer sides, does it have 4 tie down hooks (Military) or only 3
(Civilian). If there are square pockets along the top rails for top bows it
is Civilian. Hope this helps.
