And let's be a little positive here - the sooner you recognize the
problem and start checking, the cheaper it will be. At the minute you
MIGHT just be talking about bearing replacement, tomorrow it could be a
crank regrind (probably a good idea anyway) and the day after tomorrow
it could throw a rod through the side of the block. Pull the oil pan
and check, it may be as cheap to fit another engine, and keep your
existing unit for spares, if you are not happy with too much mechanical
suff.
