I have also had failures of the electronic ignition module in my M151A2. Over
the years I have owned 7 of the M151 series but only the last one of these
jeeps had the electronic ignition. Never had an ignition problem with the
other 6 that had points, but the last one has eaten up two electronic modules
in just 400 miles.

Fortunatly, the military vehicle gods were smiling on me both times. The
first module died when I was idling in my driveway and the second one died
just as I was turing into the driveway after a short trip. I think I may have
used up all of my MV Luck, I better be prepaired for a real doosie the next
time.
