Sorry, I should have also told you that prior to rebuilding the carb, I
removed the gas tank and blew out the fuel lines with compressed air.
However, I did not take the fuel pump apart to clean it. I guess I probably
should have done this. Fuel is pumping, and is being drawn out of a clean
plastic gas can.

If I take fuel pump apart, can I get it back together again? I don't know
because I've never done it. Does it require special tools?
