[MV] CCKW Rims

I just mounted 10 tires on CCKW truck rims. None have come apart. Though,
I was warned of the dangers numerous times by the people who demounted and
blasted the old rims. They explained to me, just as Steve has, about
tapping the rings in place with slight air pressure in the tires. After
mounting them, making sure I did not put my face or body in front of the
hub, I let them sit for a couple of days. Most rings had a good tight fit,
but there was one that I did notice to go on really easy. This one is
mounted on the truck facing inside. I am also using 3 of the 60s vintage
two piece rims with the middle split. They mounted pretty tight as well.

Here's a couple of questions. On the top radiator hose, is there supposed
to be a rubber adapter on the radiator nipple? I noticed that the size on
the radiator side is smaller than the hose nipple on the thermostat housing.
My original hose does not seem to fit properly, too loose. Also I need two
brake fitting bolts. They are the ones used on the brass junction boxes
where the a bolt passes through and screws into a hose fitting on the other
side. The also have a hole going down the center of it. I don't know the
name of this bolt, sorry. Also need the washers that go with it. Anyone
got any extras?

Our reenactment group just acquired a 1944 CCKW 353 for $2600. I have not
seen it but supposedly is it 90% complete. Just need some canvas, new fuel
tank, and spare tire carrier. Also have just acquired a Chevy 1-1/2 ton for
our group as well, even more complete. I just got a bunch of parts from
White Owl. Hope to finally have my truck running by the weekend.
