Call this a silly question if you like; but my lasting impression of Hawaii
was of a hot, WET and humid place bordering on a tropical climate.
This being the case, what would be left to dig up after this amount of
time in the ground?
Better to dig somewhere dry?
I have heard recently of a "find" in Canada of some very well preserved
Bren Gun Carriers (Universals), but they were in the right type of ground
in the right part of Canada - so it does happen.
Regards
Doug
