There is no one out there qualified to disarm ordnance on a range. Not
only does demo decay with age, but with close by explosions, it becomes
sensitized, which means it is easier to set off.
DON'T TRY IT.

Now, if you absolutely have to go out there on the range to see that
Stuart, here is how to do it.
Range control has to make periodic inspections of ranges. This means they
have to drive through so called safe zones. If you ask range control, some
times they might allow you to come along to look. You can't get out of the
vehicle, usually, but at least you can see the stuff. Just don't do it by
yourself- if you get caught, it's trespassing on Federal Property

There is a very nice Stuart Hull on the .50 Caliber range on a base in
Texas. Range Control was very nice and drove me there to take photos of
it(which I have since lost). However, the next time I asked, a new
commander was in town, and they wouldn't try it with him.

Try it. It doesn't hurt to ask.
