Today I ran across Valvoline's Synpower synthethic brake fluid that
meets and exceeds DOT 3 and DOT 4 specs. It is a glycol based fluid. I
know we've had a couple of long debates/threads about the use of
silicone fluids. I'm not interested in a repeat of that topic. But has
anyone had any experience with this glycol synthetic fluid? How about
water absorption? Spongy pedal due to more air in the fluid like the
silicone fluid? Etc.?
