I want to restore some of my vehicles to US Navy WWII configuration,
and I have a few questions:
What colors did the Navy use? I've seen pictures of both OD and gray
vehicles.
What markings did they have? Did they have registration numbers like
the US Army, or did they use a completely different system. What
unit numbers/symbols would be used?
I am especially interested in markings of the USN Construction
Batallions (Seabees). Any pictures of Seabee vehicle would be
great.
