The K-38 is a small WWII trailer for pulling behind a Jeep. It is a box
body with a hinged lid and has many compartments inside for storing
signal corps hardware. They weigh 410 lbs. and measure 76.25" long X
37" wide X 42" high and were made by the York Hoover Body Corp. These
are the only two I've ever seen-they are real rare.
The M104 I don't know much about other than that it's a 1.5 ton rating
and appears to be the height to pull behind a 2.5 ton. It has a factory
tailgate in the front and back (for walk-through, I assume) and stake
sides. The one I've got has no data plates but from the taillights, it
seems to be from the 50's.
Nice to hear from you and keep in touch. What do you have now?
