Would anyone believe me if I said I saw an M37 6X6 tonight? This evening, I
was driving around in the Arapahoe national forest in the Colorado Rockies and
I saw a couple of Duece and a Half's and some trailers outside a house, so I
stopped to see what all they had. This guy showed me around his property. He
had some M35's, and an M105 trailer. Also an M37 in pretty rough shape. Then
he said, "I've got another M37 in here if you want to see it." Turns out to
be (I assume) the world's only 6x6 M37. He made it himself. Joined two beds
together. Has two rear fender wells on each side. He took the rear end he
took out of some scrapped 6x6. I assume it came from a WC62. Also, he put
in a V8 engine with the original M37 transmission, allowing the winch to work
properly with the PTO. Has anyone ever heard about this project? He said he
completed the project about 5 years ago and has had several offers for it. I
can post pictures if anyone is interested. Also, he had about a half dozen
ROKON 2x2 motorcycles.

P.S. - I also saw an M715 and an M101 trailer while I was out. Turned out to
be a fairly interesting drive.
