I wonder if that is EXACTLY what Zaloga said? The media has never been
afraid to let the truth get in the way of a good story.
Why are you assuming that the Finns would have American equipment?
Considering their historically uncomfortable location wouldn't it be
more the case that the most unlikely nationality of equipment they would
have in storage would be American?
Remember, the Finns have used AXIS and Russian equipment: so I am first
in
line for a Tiger (dreaming), Shermans are a dime a dozen in comparison!
The reality of it is, T-34's are probably what are for sale.
(I believe this is where Bob Fleming aquired his Sturmgeshutz IV, one of
those will get you 2 or 3 pristine Shermans, provided of course,
he would even consider letting it go.)
Does anyone have any accurate information?
