I wonder if anyone knows of a way to restore data plates that have lost
their black paint. Painting by hand would be very difficult and doesn't
leave a smooth finish like the originals.
As well, the letters are not raised very high off the surface so spraying
the whole thing and sanding off the high points wouldn't work.
Is there any trick to this?
