[MV] Restoring GPW gas tank

To the list: Just when is a gas tank too far gone to restore? I have
one that is still strapped in the jeep that looks quite solid, except
for being extremely rusty inside and out. It has the filler extension
and original cap. I'd really like to use it instead of buying a repro.
What if it's rusted through on the bottom? Does anybody have
experience with bringing an old tank back?

What about this company that's advertising in Supply Line or Military
Vehicles? Anybody have comments about their work?

Any advise will be appreciated.
