TOP sent me one. It is copper over asbestos ? 1 and 3/16 inside
diameter. I thought it might be solid copper, but he has far more exp
than I. Anyway if this it what is used in M38A1 and I'm going to try it,
they are available at Columbia Airmotive Troutdale, Oregon 1-503 665
4896 (1601 SW Sturgis Dr.) I've done bus. with them for years and feel
they are reliable for all kinds of airplane parts of which this gasket
is one. I'm told there are two smaller gaskets in the system and they
probably have them too. They sent me an assortment to try out. Richard.
