List:
In sand blasting the frame of my 1952 M-37 there seems to be three
colors -- Gray which I assume is a primer, glossy black and OD green.
( I will skip the Civil Defense Yellow) My experience with MVs over
the last 26 years was usually with vehicles with long service and they
were solid OD (shade depended on what was in vogue at the time)

My first unit has M-37s but they were gloss OD, white stars and
bumper #s and we wiped them with diesel to get a good shine. (Quickly
learning that motor pool dust sticks to diesel like glue!!)

My units never got new vehicles only hand me downs. Thus the question
were M-37 frames black? or should I go with OD????
