I wonder if adequate lubrication existed in the housing of all the =
moving parts when the GPW was towed. I have routinely towed my M-38 with =
all 4 of its wheels on the ground, axle shafts in place, but with the =
gears placed in nuetral, with no problems (once even from Washington DC =
to California), although I average more at the 45 -55 mph range when I =
undertake towing with it.
