I'm heading down the last couple of months in restoring my 43 GPW and
I'm still looking for some parts.
Here's the list:
blackout light
6 volt regulator
6 v headlight bulbs
windshield glass (one side only)
rear bumperettes
glove box door and lock
tool box lids and locks
complete top - looking for winter style enclosure
vacuum powered windshield wiper - complete
windhsield canvas cover
canvas headlight covers
toolbag and tools
oil can
jack
lubrication chart and holder
gun rack for dash and canvas cover
tires (5)
rear seat frame and brackets
axe
shovel
data plates
gas tank
I'll soon have photos available online. I need some closeups of the
firewall from the engine side if anyone has any available. I'm also
confused on the connections of the springs for the clutch and brake
pedals and if anyone has photos of where and how they connect I'd
appreciate it.
Last, I've lost a few wire hangers on the bottom of the tub (thanks to a
new floor) and I need to find out where they are supposed to be
positioned.
