<IMPERIAL>
It's a piece of 3/4" threaded rod, about 10" in length. One end has a 3 1/2"
metal disc turned to the diameter of the shoulder that is on the inside
of the diff cavity. The other end has a piece made from a number of welded-
together nuts with an old ballrace in a housing turned and welded to the
end. Inside the ballrace is a spigot with a flange on which an inner diff
oil seal neatly slides on.
</IMPERIAL>
To use it I simply put a new seal on the end, place inside the diff cavity
and wind up the nut. It takes 30 seconds or so, the seal is located perfectly,
and is undamaged, something that can happen if the seal is located with a long
drift.
I'll take some pictures of it and put them up if anyone's interested.
Steve.
