That's what me and a few of the list guys are trying to figure out.. i was
doin 70 and i figure it took me half a mile or so to get over and a couple
hundred yards to get stopped after i went "whoah!" :) ... and i estimate i
was in the middle or not quite there yet..
so on the "low estimate" you have 4000 ft (under a mile) divided by 40 ft.
(flatcar) = 100, X2 would make that about 1.5 miles...
200 x 2 per flatcar = 400...
which imho is _WAY_ more hardware than ft lewis would have on hand... ??
they're not desert camo yet..

yeah, but this was along i-5.. I was standing on the shoulder about 10 feet
from that trainload. and it was on the opposite side of the freeway and
like 5 miles south of ft lewis...

chicks dig guys in uniform, and honor, so getting them into mil-veh's might
not actually be all that much of a stretch.. :)
