M1's of all types are shipped all the time to about seventy different
locations:
Ft.Hood, Ft.Knox, Ft. Lewis, back to the factory in Lima, Ohio for upgrade,
NTC, and being on the West Coast, they could be bound for Korea. There's
nothing sensitive or new about the whole process. As for Iraq, there will be
NO ground troops involved, besides, lots of M1's are already pre-positioned in
Kuwait, Saudia, and Diego Garcia. Probably more than they could ever crew in
these days...
