I made up a tool today and gave it a try. The supply house wanted to sell me
a minimum of eight of PVC pipe so I used a PVC, pipe thread to pipe, adapter.
I was using a 5" C clamp so I cut the length to 1". I filed a V notch in the
threaded end and gave it a try. It's the easiest I have ever put on shocks.
I have a picture of this $.35 tool if anyone is interested.
