I hate to rain on anyone's parade but "MINT" mean's "New or in it's
original condition, as a postage stamp, in <italic>mint</italic>
condition." (Webster's New Twentieth Century Dictionary.")
If you rub off Washington's immage from a coin and replace it with
Lincoln's, it can not be "MINT" no matter how much you polish it.
