I know about two restored running Kettenkrads, which were sold to
the USA some month ago. Price was more than DM 50.000 (US-$ 29.500)
each. They were not perfect, but most people would call them nice
vehicles. I had bid DM 35.000 for one and didn't get it.=20
The Yanks are buying all the Kettenkrads available here and they=20
are paying high prices.
One was a postwar model and I think the US buyer doesn't know that
he bought a postwar farm tractor and not a real Wehrmacht vehicle...
Best regards
Andreas
