Recently I had bought an M37 up in Michigan. As I am a little wary of
travel in winter in the northern regions I pursued the idea of hiring a
co. to haul the truck down here to Kansas City Missouri are. After
several very high estimates ($900-$1200) I finally found an outfit here
in KC called Sports Associated (816-483-8900). I was quoted a cost of
$550. I asked about other charges and they said no, just $550. One co.
had jacked up the price 'cause the truck didn't run, and I didn't have a
ramp or emabankment to offload it on, etc. When I said OK and when it
arrived could I pay with Mastercard, he said "no, we dont accept charge."
"only cashiers check, money order, or cash." I said no prob. I'll go
down the day before it arrives and get cash. He said "Oh, for cash then
its only $500 !" So I said OK and called the DRMO place and got it all
set up. Took them 3 weeks to have it here, but it arrived in good shape
(even runs now, well a little) and I was real happy about their service
for the reasonable (imy opinion) price. By the way it was about 1,00
miles one way here to Mi.
In effect I would reccommend them. Side note they recently transported
a bunch of KC Police Motorcycles to St. Louis for the Poe's visit, so
they use them too. Kinda a good endorsement. Good Luck, Steve
