I remembered a recent thread about import problems from Europe and did not
follow it as closely as I should have. Apologies if this is a rehash.
I spoke to a gentleman in the U.K.to who routinely exports from England to
the US and he said there were apparently no permits currently being granted
because of the scud missle demill problem some months back. He obviously
hoped it would be short term, but had little idea as to when it may improve.
I have heard all the normal Bull from time to time about "No More Vehicles"
from the U.K. , but these are normaly promoted by the dealers on this side of
the pond to improve sales. The person I spoke with had nothing to gain by
telling me about the problems.
I would like to hear from someone in The U.K. who knows something one way or
the other about this.
