[MV] AutoLite Voltage Regulator

Hello List,

I recently purchased a NOS AutoLite Regulator from a fellow MVPA member
who advertised several items in Supply Line. Upon contacting him, he told
me several times he thought this might be a POSITIVE ground regultor and
not to use it with a NEG ground generator until I could confirm its
polarity, but I figured if the part number was correct (VRY 4203 A), then
it HAD to be a NEG ground regulator. Unfortunately I misread his ad, and
instead of buying a VRY 4203A, I am now the proud owner of a VRY 4201 A
regulator. So my questions are:
1) Is a VRY 4201 A a POSTITIVE or NEGATIVE ground regulator?
2) Can it be used on my GPW?
3) If not, what vehicle is it used for?
4) If it is inappropriate for my jeep, does anyone out there need a NOS
AutoLite
VRY4201A 6V 25 Amp. voltage regualtor?

Thanks,
Mike
