I have heard thru the grape vine and reliable sources that there are some
deviuos characters who are trying to sell X-Military Defenders(110 and 90
Land Rovers)to people on the military lists and bulletin boards.These trucks
were bought from the base in Suffield or Wainwright Alberta.Most are in
rough shape and need a lot of work.Not one of the trucks is legal or safe to
register in the US or CDN.It is part of the condition of sale that they are
for parts only or export to another country.Be very careful if you are
considering one of these because they do not meet any federal standards,and
the paperwork will be shady.Also many are being offered at rediculously
inflated prices.For example-one goon bought a unit for $4700CDN and offered
it for sale $19,000 US.I saw the ad and he got so much harassment that he
finally pulled it.Talk about greed.Another clown out of Montana does the
same thing.There are others.
