Sec 501 is for chariatable non-profit organizations, donations to which are
tax deductible. However, groups like the MVPA are (or should be) just plain
non-profit organizations. Donations are not tax deductible and neither are
dues, except for a few who write membership off as a business expense. No
big loss if you want to keep your balls!
