Suppose we have a 'rally' in washington in front of the Senate bldg. We
schedule this for the week of the VA? convention in 2000? Get a parade permit,
everything legal. Get our frendly congresscritters on board. We show up with a
large number of MV's carrying a large number of older vets. Do this while
congress is in session. Make a big media event out of this. Add in a charity
twist. Get pledges for $.xx per mile driven. Go the whole 9 yards to show that
we are regular guys/gals. Bring history books to be distributed. Get a national
MV history week declared. Cummon, think. I came up with these in 5 minutes.
Lets get positive and use the media, charity, image to make the 'others' look
like power hungry Maoists (I didn't use Nazi or Stalin)
AND: We all show up in 3 piece suits driving our MV's!
No cammo,
No uniforms etc.
Three piece suits only! The ONLY people in uniforms are the non-owner vets
that are our honored guests.
What do you think?
Steve
