I'd have to agree with this shortcoming. Ive had several over the road engines
fail in this manner, albeit, after many miles. I'd say from my personal
experience that it's the most common failure in this engine family...and often
results in sleeve breakage at the thin areas adjacent to the ports which ring
the sleeves. Once a couple of small pieces of broken sleeve get loose, FOD
then takes the engine out.
