Errr, no, basically. One of the bigger craft used in S.P.R. came from a
contractor in Fort William, Scotland. At the conclusion of the filiming
he used it to tow a bunch (three, maybe ?) of the Higgins-type boats back
to Fort William, where he intended to use them for local contracting. I
believe they were original craft but a later type. Somebody said
something earlier about them having Diesels, while the originals had
petrol engines. I can dig up a contact if anyone is sufficiently
intersted to bring one back from Scotland, of course he may have them
converted to holiday homes or a tourist attraction by now.
