Hi Doug!
You raise a very good point! The copy on the Testors Master paints
display was pitching the accuracy of its "FS" matched paint. It didn't
have any text about the differances in scale and effect of pigment
grain or the other points you mentioned.
I know most experianced modelers weather the vehicle after the base
colour is applied. Also, in painting the kit, did you prime it with
Grey? Red Oxide? or no primer. This might effect the apparent cast of
the colour.
BTW, can you get Testors there or would you like me to send you a copy
of the colour chips I made up?
Can you order paint(Avroe or Gelespie) from the US?
The Bren carrier should get its first colour coat next week! Then we
can start putting it back together! Yippeeeeee!
