i'm sure you've heard about 50 times today that, despite your (and my)
experiences, the mutt is, according to uncle, dangerous and cannot be
allowed on public hiways. i, too, have many fond memories of the m151,
including many trips from inglewood ca to camp pendleton for weekend
drill. but if i want a jeep it seems i will have to buy it from chyrsler
and let uncle use the really good stuff for artillery practice.

by the way, there is a company in florida that still makes new (!) mutts. i
don't recall the name of the company, but it is something like endeavor
vehicles. they are on the internet somewhere, but i don't have the page off
hand.

there is also another fellow named 'ken' on the list who goes by the email
of 'muttguru'. i suspect that he can tell you anything you need to know.

151s are available, but you have to *want* one to get one.
