Don't know much about these vehicles, Just thought I'd pass it along.

The one of the local LR dealers up here recently imported I'd say maybe 5
or more 109" military vehicles. Not a spot of rust on anything,
left-hand drive, under 10,000 miles. Green, of course, no rear doors
(P/U style). The beds right now aren't attached to the frames, and they
seem like they're probably unwilling to do it for you unless you forked
over typical "Rover's North" type cash (the place selling them). I think
it'd probably take about 3 or 4 hours to do. I'd say, "immaculate."
$7000 If it matters (they aren't listed AFAIK) http://www.roversnorth.com

>From my experience in the Land Rover field(almost 20 years now)Rovers North
has the best service and prices and availability of parts for just about
everything Land Rover. They are by far superior in all aspects than any Land
Rover Dealer anywhere including the UK.
I have dealt with many different parts suppliers over the years and I always
end up going back to Rovers North. They carry the best quality, pricing for
the quality, service and warranties on their parts.
Quality parts is a big problem with Land Rovers because there are many after
market shysters out there and if you base everything on price then I can
guarrantee you will get burned.
$7000 for a low mileage 109 series three is a good price. You can be assured
that these aren't junk with the way Rovers North screens their vehicles for
sale.
For those that are interested, a friend around here has a 1981 Light Weight
for sale,original 24 volt x military radio truck(no radio).These are rarer
than the 109's.It's his daily driver and he wants to sell before he goes to
Switzerland on May 9.Asking $7500 OBO.In all about 15,000 Light Weights were
built and quite a bit less than 1/4 are still around.
