Folks:
I am going to look at a 1947 Ford 1.5 Ton truck over the weekend. It
is my understanding that this is the same truck, with minor variations, as
the 1942 truck. Can anyone tell me if these trucks were used in British
service? I know a bunch were manufactured in Canada during the war and the
source I saw saaid that they were all "military pattern" and lacked
civilian amenities like radios, door seals etc. Any info would be greatly
appreciated, and if anyone has an opinion as to what a running 1947 1.5 ton
flat bed with a fresh rebuild on the flathead V8 would be worth, I would
appreciate hearing from you. (the guy is asking $2,000 for it)
