I found a brand new sector shaft in my box of parts today. It is not
the same size as the one in my M38A1(it's smaller). If I had to guess, I
think it is from an MB . I am wanting to sell it, mainly because no one I
know has an MB. I will sell the shaft, inner and outer bushings, seal, and
gaskets for $75 o/bo (plus shipping) if anyone is interested, or trade for
M38A1 parts.
The dimensions on it are as follows: shaft length-5.5", shaft
diameter-7/8" ?, base width-2.25", distance between nipples-1.5"(center to
center), base height-2.25". This shaft has minor rust on shaft, easily
buffed off with emery cloth, but is otherwise in perfect condition. All
measurements are as close as I can tell, so don't quote me on 1/16ths.
