Yes a bus has hydraulic steering BUT it is mechanically connected to the
front end to turn the wheels in the event of power failure <engine died>.
Technically any vehicle with power steering is hydraulic steering unless on
some older trucks they have air assist (which is only to be used for local
driving. Air assist has a valve in the cab for the driver to shut off when
entering the highway). True hydraulic steering has no mechanical connection
to the front end.
