[MV] Gas cans and spouts

I just picked up a nearly NOS US QMC marked large mouth screw top gas can.
It is dated under the handles. I also have seen several types of
spouts, other wise known as Donkey Dicks.
I have the rubber seal type, and I also have the screw type. The screw
types I have had were dated to WWII, including one which was NOS in the
wrapper, and I have encountered this type when I was in the army
(1985-1997). The diameter on the WWII ones is usually a little more than an
inch. But I have also seen ones which were more like a half inch in
diameter. I think these were earlier ones.

A nice accessory to pick up for the gas can is the adapter for using the can
as a fuel tank. These are usually associated with hot water immersion
heaters, and are a nice thing to have in case you have to try starting a
vehicle with the gas tank out, like when it is about to be welded on, or is
coming out of a field, etc.
