Please help identify a device mounted on the interior cab firewall of an
M135 (1951).
It is a metal box - measuring 5 inches by 6 inches and 1 inch deep - held
on the firewall by two bolts - on the top is provisions for connecting a
single metal shell wire connector. On the face of the box is embosed in the
shell - "FARADAY" and "SIGNAL".
There were no wiring connectors to the device when I acquired the truck and
the repo harness I installed has no provisions for it. Also I can not
recognize it on the wiring schematic in the manaual.
My quess is naturally some sort of turn signal device added at a latter time
in the vehicle's life (1960 rebuild at Pueblo,Co.) - any ideas - ?
Thanks in advance for your time to read my request
