<< As an aside, I have to wonder if we are not in a dying hobby. If you look
at
the people in this hobby, most seem to be WW2 vets, or the majority of us,
their
children (baby-boomers). There seem to be few young people entering this
hobby. >>
I know a fellow with a rather large collection of (nice) WW2 vehicles, and
his kids (sons) act like they couldn't care less about them.
On the other hand my 4 year old son is constantly wandering around the '43
GPW I'm saving for him and asking how old he has to be before we can start on
it, one of his favorite pastimes is to go for a ride in the 'army jeep' (MB).
The hobby will survive.
